When buying a home, applying for a loan is very troublesome for many people, but it doesn't have to be. I have close business relationships with various lenders in Tampa, and they've helped me recognize a few things that will make the loan application process much easier.

1 – Create a list of questions regarding your loan program

If you don't thoroughly understand the advantages and disadvantages of the different programs, make sure you have a list of questions. 2 – Determine when you want to lock

Locking in indicates that your mortgage lender holds to the interest rates for the loan – most often at the time the loan application is received. By floating the rate, you can lock the rate at any time between the day you apply for the loan and at the time of closing.
